Helpful Information About Video Programmes

The standard frame rate in the UK is 25 frames per second, other countries have different frame rates.

You can chose to speed up or slow the videos movement by altering the frame rate.

Key frames are the key points of the sequence.

The frames in between the key frames are called imbetweeners or tweening.

When shooting film it is important to keep into consideration the framing. There are a lot of different size screens which your film may be watched on and therefore you need to make if viewable by everyone.

Section A is called the Action Safe and this area is used more for image. On some screens this will not be visible and therefore if there is text in this area it could confuse the message you are trying to convey.

Section B is called the Title Safe and inside the area text is most visible. Everything inside can be viewed on any screen.
